our fabrics
pre-launch our sustainable decisions are still on a journey. the information below is applicable to our current measure+make samples and is subject to change. but throughout iterations and sample changes one thing remains the same: our commitment to producing bras that work better for the people who wear them, and the planet we live on.
our bra fabrics are sourced as surplus deadstock from a UK-based, family-owned fabric supplier before being sent to our UK manufacturing partners.
our super soft stretch satin is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and originally produced by the Boselli mill in Italy, where water purification and irrigation techniques are used to keep wastewater in a circular loop and eliminate chemicals seeping out into the local environment.
our underarm and underband elastics are 100% bio-based, made from TENCEL™ and natural rubber, and our strap elastics are synthetic, but sourced from a UK-based family-run business (we are currently actively undertaking R&D to find a bio-based solution to this!)
Lenzing’s TENCEL™ fibres are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, as well as being USDA certified bio-based.

our production process
we have built our measure+make supply chain on a love for localised, onshored production.
our fabrics are sourced within the UK, and our elastics come from nearby Germany. as we expand and develop more regional hubs across Europe (and beyond!) we will utilise fabrics from within the same country as the consumer.
this fabric and componentry is then routed to SME factories within that same locality, utilising their idle capacity to produce made-to-order, on-demand bras.
our transparency
our local supply chain structure has been designed to be as transparent as it can possibly be.
through our in-depth Digital Product Passport system we provide information on all of our suppliers, alongside insights into who made your bra, what it’s made from, and how to care for it.
repairs are available through our manufacturing regional hub networks, and our DPPs will also signpost you to what to do with your bra at end-of-life.
